• Is the music and video consistent with the message of the lyrics? Why or why not? The music and the video are consistent with the message, because it tells us about the love of God and that he made us fearfully and wonderfully made.
• How do you rate the depth and creativity of the music and video? Why? The depth and creativity of the video was great, because it used everyday life in the background while they were singing about true beauty.
• What is your personal evaluation of this song? I would listen to this song again, and I would recommend it to anyone feeling like that have to change to be beautiful.

ReplyDelete~ The main message that the artist or band is trying to communicate is that no matter what you change about yourself, the original you will always be better, and in the song he kept saying, " there will never be a more beautiful you".
~ The most meaningful part of the lyrics to me was when he said, " Your body and your hair are perfect just the way they are", meaning that the way god made it to be was fine, and we shouldn't try to change that.
~The song suggestions to listeners on how to think, talk, act or live would be for think is like the song said, " perfect just the way you are". For talk would be, we should like who we are and what we have. For act would be, nothing reading a newspaper about beauty, and then wanting t change your own self to match. Finally for live is that, we must except ourselves for what we are, and embrace it.
~The music and video consent are with the message of the lyrics, because he talks about how a little girl wants to change her image even thought she is perfect just the way she is, and in the video that is what it going on.
~I rate the depth and creativity of the music and video by saying it was good, and they both matched up with each other to make the song better.
~My personal evaluation of this song is that it was good, and it gives you an insight on how people actually try to change their images.

ReplyDelete-The main message is that you are who you are and you shouldn't try to change yourself because you're beautiful with who you are. An example is: "the beauty is within your heart, and you were made with such care, your skin, your body, and your hair, are perfect just the way they are."
-The most meaningful part of the lyrics was: "Your skin, your body, and your hair, are perfect just the way they are." Because You're made to be who you are and no one else.
-The song suggests we should be happy with who we are and not try and change ourselves.
-They are both consistent
-The depth and creativity were good. But not Safe and Sound creative.
-It was something somewhat new, so it wasn't terrible.

ReplyDelete- The main message of the song seemed to be that how could someone be more beautiful than they already are and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
- The most meaningful part to me was how the song showed all of the steps and changes that are made in order to make what we call beauty. It was meaningful to me because I believe that this stage of beauty that the little girl in the song wanted to be like is not achievable naturally in today's standards.
- The song teaches that we should be happy for who we are and our natural appearance.
- The video and song both are consistent.
- The ranking for depth is a 9 out of 10, since it deals with a normally overlook subject. The creativity was 8 out of 10, since the video was consistent and dealt with what looked like a personal matter to the singer.
- The song was good enough for the radio and maybe some school lessons, but I'm not sure about putting it on personal electronic devices.

ReplyDeletethe main message in this song is that girls or anyone is more beautiful the way they are and that the women in the magazines are piled up with make up and are cropped the way the others want them to look, in the song it says little girl 14 flipping through the magazines and she wants to look that way
the most meaningful and repetitive part is there can never be a more beautiful you and that you are made for a purpose, because women always say they are good enough and their fat and us guys are like shhhh and they pile on all this make up and it a turn off and i wish they knew
that we should change the way we look at the world and look at God for beauty and we don't need anything else
this video is constant and gets its point across when its say there can never be a more beautiful you

The most important part of the lyrics is “Don't buy the lies, disguises and hoops, they make you jump through.” This shows how we should never put value in what others say about us nor should try to alternate our self image for to suit other peoples opinions.

D.Is the music and video consistent with the message of the lyrics? Why or why not? The message of the song is what thoroughly drives the course of the music and video. As we progress throughout the song we see the visual demonstration of the meaning of the lyrics.
E.How do you rate the depth and creativity of the music and video? Why? Depth: 5. The message of the song has some significance to life but it leans more to females than it does males. Creativity: 5. The video was very family-oriented which gave a sense of comfort throughout the whole.
