Check the box

Often we are very unsure of our relationship with God. Does He really care for us TODAY? A proper biblical worldview allows us to understand our relationship with God at all times. Watch the video entitled "Check the box" and give me your thoughts in at least 50 words, Have you just felt like you needed God to 'check the box'?

  1. Throughout life, everyone wants to be liked, loved and respected. This the same with God, He wants His children to love, respect and fear him. Even though, some of people on the earth don't know or love; it's our duty to show the love of God to unbelievers, because we may the only bible that they ever see. Christians don't have to ask whether God loves them or not, because He sent His Son,Jesus, to die for our sins.

  2. I think everyone's felt like they needed God to 'check the box.'
It's the question that everyone wants to know the answer to some point in their life, whether they're feeling at their highest or they're at their absolute breaking point.
There are some Christians who feel their faith breaking every day because they think that the Lord isn't listening to their prayers but in reality, he's building up a plan for their future and He may not ever answer as fast as some would like but He's surely listening.
    The Bible tells us so.

  3. I'm sure many people wonder if God "likes" them or not, whether they are good people who go to church and read their Bible regularly or drug addicts who are trying to straighten out their lives. They all want to be checked yes by God to ensure that they are in good hands and then they'll either go about being Godly people or go back to their lives doing their own things and just being stupid humans. In conclusion, being checked by God is good but that doesn't guarantee a free pass to an awesome life.

  4. well starting with the video it was true about when we were small we all wanted to be like. Then when it comes to god the first question is that do we even want to know if we are in god's like list. But at the end it says is the bible that we are in-scripted in the palm of his hands for life, meaning nothing can change it because if we make a mistake we should just ask for forgiveness and we should be good, but it doesn't mean we should continue to do the same thing over and over again. The video is right we all at one point want to know if somebody likes us.

  5. This video shows how something small could answer a big question. What bigger question is there than if God likes us how we are right now. I believe this is correct on how He has already answered that question.

  6. In this video it is showing us how we always want to know if we are liked by others and want to make sure of it. For example, the check the box thing is something little kids use to find out and even this guy did it at 27 years old. Some people want to know if God likes us or not but he has already told us in the Bible how much he loves us.

  7. This video shows that how we always care about what others are thinking about us. To me if God loves us we don't need others to love us. Others can say they love us and cant show us proof of it. God showed us he loves us threw his word.

  8. This is video is showing how much the everyday person wants to be liked by his or her friends, family, etc. us as humans care so much about how other people look at us and think of us that sometimes we lose track on whats really important in life. and that Jesus Christ always loves you no matter what

  9. This video shows how much we want to know if someone likes us back. One example the guy used is when we want to make sure someone loves us when we tell them. It's human nature to want to know if we are loved. But we can be sure that God loves us.

  10. In my opinion, this video was kind of cheesy but it made a great point. Many times in our personal life we make certain choices and at the end of the day we wonder has God stilled showed His love for us. I ask myself that same question when I'm seeking God's will. I often wonder if my personal ambition and dreams are in alignment with God's plans for my life. By reading His word and properly understanding it, we Christians find all the answers to our questions.

  11. I thought that the video was very sweet and he really connected the thought he was trying to make to a biblical worldview. Throughout life you are always wondering if you are good enough for God it is kinda a given that you will feel that way. When you are going up you always here how God is this awesome thing and you want to do everything you can to see him one day. So yes you wonder if God has checked the box yes.Being Christians and reading Gods word allows you to have the reassurance that God loves us no matter what we have done in our life.

    1. I believe this is a great message for how we need love as humans. We all need to know someone loves us or else we would be misrable so it shows how God loves us a lot and how we know this from reading scripture.

  12. I really liked the video and how it said we just want to find out if a certain person likes us. But god already checked yes by sending his son to die for us and by giving us his word. Sometimes we just feel that no one even god could love because of what we have done or said.

  13. I liked the video and explains how we find out certain people like us. Question or statement God has seen it. - Julian fitts

  14. I think that everybody wonders what God would do it we sent him a "check the box". I think that God would answer "yes" to weather or not he loves us. I believe that it is enough proof that he loves us when he sent his only son to save us.

  15. Before I watched that video or read Isaiah 49:16 I always asked God if he sill loved me and I would never get an answer. But then I watched this video and thought, "If God didn't love me I wouldn't even be alive today."
